Welcome!
Who made this?
This website is being created by Arcadia High School students for elementary students anywhere.
They are not teachers but wonderful, intelligent, and hard working teenagers who want to do work that makes a difference.
Hopefully, you will find this to be a helpful resource when planning for your NGSS lessons.
Each group of students was given a piece of the NGSS standards and the following tasks:
Create readings for the content that is interesting
Find a short "high interest" video that supports the content
Find or create a lab or activity that supports the content
Create a short PowerPoint presentation for the content
Include a vocab list, quizzes, test, question sheets, and answer keys for all assignments.
How can you use this?
Each grade level is subdivided into the Performance Expectations of the NGSS standards.
Use this as a starting point for your own ideas or take it for your classroom.
Help us get better!
If you have a reading, video, lab or activity that is even better let us know and we will do our best to include it on the website. Check out our About page to submit your suggestions in the contact form and take a quick survey.
