Standards
-Make observations and/or measurements to provide evidence of the effects of weathering or the rate of erosion by water, ice, wind, or vegetation
-Analyze and interpret data from maps to describe patterns of Earth’s features.
Picture
1. How is the river changing over time?
2. What process is this called?
3. How was the river affected by rainfall?
Comparing and Contrasting
Picture
Have students create a Venn Diagram of the comparing and contrasting the differences of erosion and weathering.
A small example is given on the side. Have them identify at least have 4 differences and 4 similarities.
